Reads to local Elementary School Children
Representative Themis Klarides read to elementary school students of Turkey Hill School in Orange and Bradley School in Derby April 6th and 7th to underscore to students the importance of literacy.
“A writer for the L.A. Times once said ‘No skill is more crucial to the future of a child, or to a democratic and prosperous society, than literacy,’” Rep. Klarides said about ongoing literacy efforts.
