Klarides Attends Opening of Orange Medical Center
ORANGE — State Representative Themis Klarides and Orange First Selectman James Zeoli led a contingent of Orange municipal officials and representatives from the Orange Chamber of Commerce in welcoming Dr. Sanjay Aggarwal’s staff from the Urgent Care Center at their Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony held today.
In her remarks, Klarides touched upon the difficult economic times the state is facing and credited Dr. Aggarwal with moving ahead with his plans to open the Urgent Care Center despite the current economic situation. “It is the progressive and courageous efforts of business owners, such as Dr. Aggarwal that will lift the state of Connecticut out of this most recent recession,” Klarides said.
First Selectman James Zeoli pointed to the Urgent Care Center as one example of what he sees as the changing landscape of the Post Road in Orange that is starting to include more medical offices in addition to the traditional retail businesses. He credited Dr. Aggarwal for bringing this much-needed health-care center to Orange. First Selectman Zeoli said, “While the Boston Post Road has always been retail oriented, Dr. Aggarwal realized that an Urgent Care Center could function very well in Orange’s traditional commercial district. I believe that Dr. Aggarwal’s vision is a positive step forward and we look forward to commercial growth of all types along the Boston Post Road.”
Billed as “Your One-Stop Walk-in Medical Center”, on-site services include a pharmacy, x-ray room, and blood drawing station with laboratory.
